Official Drawing Rules
Plain-language terms for ManaLeague's members' club drawings.
1. Sponsor & nature
ManaLeague drawings are a private, members-only social activity run by your playgroup's organizer for its members. They are not a public lottery or a commercial promotion.
2. No purchase necessary
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. Points used to enter are earned only by participating in pod games and achievements — they cannot be bought with money and have no cash value.
3. Free equal-odds entry (AMOE)
Every member may enter any drawing for free with a single equal-odds ticket, regardless of points. A purchase (spending points) does not improve your chances beyond the published ticket weighting and is never required.
4. Eligibility
Open to active pod members who are 18 or older. The organizer running the drawing is not eligible to win their own drawing. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
5. How winners are chosen (provably fair)
Winners are drawn by a weighted random draw using a commit-reveal scheme: a hash of a secret server seed is published before entries lock, combined with a pod-chosen client seed and a public drand randomness beacon, then revealed afterward so any member can reproduce and verify the result.
6. Odds & prizes
Odds depend on the number of tickets in each drawing and are shown on the raffle page before each draw. Prizes are funded by the group or the organizer and are kept modest in value; the prize and its approximate value are disclosed before the draw.
7. No cash value & no transfer
Points and tickets have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash, and cannot be sold or transferred between members.
8. Records
The draw audit (commitment, seeds, beacon round and result) is retained and viewable by members so every drawing can be independently verified.
